Jess! As you took the stage at the NIGP Forum, I prepared myself for another keynote speaker that connects with their audience through heartfelt funny stories, only to fall short of inspiring or motivating me to take action. When I listen to a keynote, I always ask myself 1) what does this person want me to do? and 2) how do they want me to do it? Keynotes rarely answer question two. You gave me truly tangible actions that I can do to create a more inclusive environment. Well, I just want to thank you for not just inspiring me, but giving me tangible actions that I can do to make this world a better place. I loved your speech, and look forward to your book!!!
